Welcome to the Indiana Police Accreditation Coalition website. Our organization is comprised of public safety professionals from across the state of Indiana whose agencies have either attained or are in the process of attaining state or international accreditation. If you are looking for a proven management model designed to guide your agency to a new level of professionalism – we have the tools and expertise to assist you.
 

At the international level, the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) is the independent accrediting authority for the following voluntary programs:

Law Enforcement Accreditation (This program provides the road map for compliance with the current best practices in law enforcement for agencies of all sizes.)

Public Safety Communications Accreditation (This program is designed for the voluntary credentialing of stand-alone police, fire, or EMS communications/dispatch centers.)

Public Safety Training Accreditation (This program provides the blueprint for superior public safety training centers and police academies.)

Additionally, the Indiana Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (ILEAC) provides law enforcement agencies throughout the state another voluntary accreditation option.
